JUST TRACK THE DATES I WRITE IN THE BLOG INSTEAD OF THE DATE OF PUBLISHING! THANK YOU!!
What are the odds?
The day is Monday night on the 8th of february at 8 pm, and I´m at Los Angeles International ariport, waiting for my flight to Puerto Rico witch leaves in 3 hours. Sitting in the bar at Karl Strauss Breweries, a couple of meters from gate 74. The airport is quiet, just the sound of he basketballlgame from the tv is bothering me, so it´s easily fixed with my old but handy iPod, and right now, the sweet sound of Damien Rice is floating throuh my ears while I´m reading a issue of the Magazine Vagabond. It´s a special number about Malaysia and other great destinations in the world and inside there´s an article about the Pink Busses from Sweden and he journey the make around the world. One story is about a ride through Central America and I can´t help to begin thinking about my good friend Mats who been on the Pink Busses twice I think, and the last time were just Central America. I begin to read the article, and turn he page to page 46 and there´s a picture from inside the bus, the picture is a bit blurry but who do you think is sitting on the chair next to the window? Oh yeah, my friend Mats! So cool. He´s wearing a t-shirt that says Inca Cola, witch I guess he got somewhere around the Inca path in Peru. No matter how tired I am from the day in LA and tired of waiting for the plane, I can´t stop myself from laughing outloud in the bar. It made my night I can tell you that. So Mats, if you read this, you´re famous man!! The only thing I think of though is hat, did you ever get out the bus? Did you get any sun at all? You´re so pale man, ha ha. Sorry, I´m getting to tired now I think, better stop writing before I say something stupid ;-)
So, this is it for now, next time I´ll be reporting from Puerto Rico and from the alltitude of 4000 meters!!
Talk to you soon my friends.
Peace & Love // David
