Last day in Puerto Viejo

After 7 days in Puerto Viejo it was time to move on. I had a great tiime here and met some new and interesting people on the way. The weather has been awsome except for some rain the last day but that didn´t kill me.
After Agapi we checked in to a new place the last night just to be closer to the bus station. This place was called Maritza but wasn´t half as nice as Agapi and it cost alot more. $50 for one night for two people, thats crazy. I don´t recommend this place even though the staff was really friendly.

The last day I found a café that had my name written all over it. The place was called Jammin and I think you can  imagine what kind of place it was. Oh, it was a soft, laid back café who served the best food and drinks, sweet enviroment and great reggae music all day long ;-) Some day I´m gonna open a place like this of my own. To bad I found it the last day, but I was happy anyway, so happy I spent almost seven hours there, just chillin´.

Nuff said, heré some random pictures of my last day....

Working working..... (but still in paradise)

Sweetliving @ Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica

This is how happy you become when you get to leave San José and head out into the real Costa Rica.

Me and Lasse got on a 4,5 hour bus ride from the city to go to the east side and Puerto Viejo. A little village close to the borders of Panama. A small, sweet place, with palmtrees, right next to the ocean, vendors by the boardwalk, and cozy little restaurants and hostels here and there. Perfect place to chill and relax.

View from the bus

We checked in to a hostel called Rockin´ J:s , a chilled place a bit outside of town, with it´s own beach, restaurant, bar and almost everything you need. I stayed here when I was here the last time and loved the place. Unfortunately the place has grown a bit during the years, more people has found it and it a lot more commercial than it used to be, like the rest of Puerto Viejo. But it´s still a very cool place and I really recommend it if you´re travelling this way. The only bad thing is that the surfing is not so good here on the east side, the west side of Costa Rica is way better.

Here , take look at Rockin´ J:s

You can rent a room, a doorm, a tree house, a villa , a tent or a hammock, sweet!

Life is Hard

When it was time to eat you have a lot of options in this little village.
And really good food. I wanted to look up a place I had breakfast at the last time. It was a small place in somebodys backyard, but they had the best breakfast. The only problem was that I didn´t knew where it was but after some searching I finally found it, Café Rico it´s called and it was totally worth the walk ;-)

I met a new friend. Viejo is full of dogs but no one looked more like my dear Emma than this one. It´s a male and he came up to me the first time I called him. I named him Zima.

Another great breakfast place with the friendliest staff ever!!

The coolest stage ever. Rasta Stage !! Big Up !!

So the hard days continue. Tomorrow we´ll leave to Bocas Del Toro, the paradise islands of Panama.

Look me up there ;-)

Hasta mañana , tiro de usted y tan bien !!
