The Banana Bungalow Hostel Hollywood

I Just wanted to show you the exlusive Banana Bungalow Hostel on Hollywood Boulevard. You would think that everything on the Boulevard was going to be all fancy and nice, not quite. It´s not the best hostel in the world but definitely not the worst. It has everything you need if you´re not that picky. A lot of free stuff comes with the price. Like breakfast (se the nice picture) , Free WiFi, Free airport shuttle etc. Some of the staff could be some more helpful when it comes to stuff but the most of them are really nice. I stayed in a 8 bedroom doorm, with som really interesting people. One German guy, Matthias, who spoke better Spanish than English. We had a great time. Went around all of Hollywood in a few days. One day I took him on such a long walk he thought hes feet would fall off. One American guy, Justin, who had just came back from the war in Afganistan, he was there for 2,5 years, It must have been rough because he slept like no other ;-) He was a cool guy! And a third guy who haven´t spoken in 2 days, and some other people, coming and going. I was here 3 nights and for that I paid like 70 dollars, totally worth it!! So if you´re ever in Hollywood, you know where to stay ;-)

LA, City of Fallen Angels & Rising Stars

So, here I am, after to many hours flying in a tin can across the atlantic, with a small touch screen tv and all the wine you can drink, and a seat just big enough to fit a baby. But I made it and here´s what I did the first day in LA

First at the hostel I became friends with a guy from Germany, we went together to Universal Studios, we never went inside because they charged you to much money but we walked around instead. And a nice surprice after 5 minutes was this, the Ifly Hollywood WindTunnel.
What are the odds? It was nothing but a toy but it was fun to watch the kids fly...

Then of course we saw the stars on Hollywood Boulevard, because we lived on that street.

And today, sunday, we went down to Santa Monica Beach and Pier. It was were they filmed Baywatch, for you who watched that magnificent tv serie ;-) It was cool to be there for a while but no wow feeling for me. I was just glad the sun was shining for a change.

We ended the day with Super Bowl at a Sports Bar on Hollywood Boulevard.
It was Indianapolis Colts vs New Orleans Saints. It was an even game but the final score was 31-17 to the Saints. Damn, the americans are really in to American Football, who knew ??

So now it´s time for bed. Sorry for the fast and incoherent blog update. The internet was down for 2 days so now I just put everything up as fast as I can. It´s gonna be better in the future ;-)

The text and pictures I don´t publish here you can see on the website http://www.sweetliving.se

Bye for now, talk again soon. Take care ya´ll
